I gotta give Pitino credit, as I’ve been one of his biggest detractors for years.
He’s got the boys playing really hard and really well. Carr has been a budding superstar, Oturu is a first rounder and Gabe has been Gabe (which can be frustrating at times). Then you add in Demir who has been a pleasant surprise. I really like the effort on D by Williams and when his shot gets better, he’ll be pretty dang good. Omersa is putting in excellent effort and can make some winning plays with his athleticism. We need Willis back!
I just wish Michael Hurt could give this team some minutes when it matters. I’d also like to see a little more Greenlee on D at times. I like the end of half minute he gets though.
This team battles and has enough talent to win some more big games. They can’t have foul trouble or get bad officiating take Daniel out of the game. We need him to play freely without foul concerns.
This team is worth paying attention to!
