Byron Buxton has all the potential in the world. He is finally hitting better in his career.. The Twins play better when he is in the lineup because just his speed and defense ALONE, is worth a few wins each season. Showed some power when he was playing.

BUT THE MAN CAN'T GET OUT OF HIS OWN WAY!!!!

He has ONE SEASON...ONE SEASON.... since 2014 that he has played over 100 games in a season for the Twins. Some type of injury, all the time. He may end up going somewhere else and play healthy where he could be a superstar, but in a mid market team like the Twins, I am not sure they could afford to pay him more if he hasn't proven to be more durable... He plays so hard on defense and that has been detrimental to his health when he is running into walls, chasing fly balls. It is not effort or attitude that is a problem . But I do think if a team gives a good offer for Buxton, that they may have to consider it... Especially since the Twins' minor leagues is full of outfield talent.

If he was always healthy, I say a definite keep but he is getting far enough along in his career with a track record of injuries that I dont think Minnesota can afford to pay him more, if he asks for more money..... WHAT SAY YOU???
