NCAA TOURNAMENT - Big Ten may only get one team out of the first round!!!

Man, a lot of 7/10 and 8/9 matchups for the Big Ten teams. I support the Big Ten but I think the conference has some real tough matchups in the first round

Maryland/West Virginia - Bordering states and Bob Huggins always plays a tough style of ball

Indiana/Kent State - Indiana can be very good but Kent State is a team that can upset you by dictating tempo and play a solid game on both ends of the floor.

Iowa/Auburn - Iowa is always a weird team to me. They can look great but then have a horrible game, Auburn is athletic and can defend well. Tough matchup.

Texas A&M/ Penn State - could be best game of the first round. Texas A&M is very dangerous.

Arkansas/Illinois - I think Arkansas length and athleticism will win out here

Boise State/Northwestern - another dangerous game. Boise State is better than you think

I THINK PURDUE WINS THEIR FIRST ROUND GAME, REGARDLESS OF OPPONENT!!

USC is another Dr. Jeckyll/Mr Hyde team. Could be trouble for Michigan State.

What are your thoughts on the Big Ten conference in this tournament??

Thoughts on Lindsay Whalen's Resignation

I never had the feeling Lindsay the star player translated to Lindsay being a good coach. Talented players, especially in state players like Scalia leaving just didn't add up to me. I am also very disappointed in Lindsay for not attending the press conference. As my father told me in tough times, keep a stiff upper lip and face the music. I don't care how emotional you are, you sit down and tell everyone you didn't get the job done. This is probably Lindsay's first real failure for her. Still no excuse for not showing up. I know some of you may disagree with me and that's fine. Now, it is up to AD Coyle to step up and HIRE THE BEST DAM COACH FOR THE WOMEN'S PROGRAM, NO MATTER WHO IT IS!! Interested in all of your thoughts.

A small update regarding myself / TGR

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to update everyone with some good news... As some of you may know or may not - not everyone who writes for Rivals or any of these sort of sites is full time - we usually have day jobs on top of it. However, thankfully with a ton of blessings lately - I'm excited to announce that I will actually be able to go full time here on Rivals in a way thanks to TGR and my other opportunities in the network. I'll be completing my duties over the next two weeks with my day job and then be officially full time writing starting on April 20.

We're excited for this as we believe it's really going to take our abilities on the site to the next level and be able to dedicate much more time to our content here on the site and the boards. Thank you for all of you for subscribing to us and reading all our content - the future is bright here at TGR and we're happy to have you guys along for the ride.

Please let me know what type of content you guys would love to see now that I'll have the ability to solely focus on it.
